We all got up early this morning as I needed to have some shots today. For the first time, Mom held me instead of Dad and I was extra brave just for her since I knew she wouldn't do too well if I started crying. The lady shot me in one leg and I teared up and fussed a bit but no big deal. Dad had prepared me by telling me what was going to happen. Then when I was all set for the second (and last) dose, the lady says that she needs to change the compressed air cartridge. I did cry a little bit then - I mean honestly, you tell me you are going to stick me then you say you're not ready - what kind of bull is that? Anyway, after the second shot I wiped off my tears and told the lady bye bye. I don't have to have any more shots until I am four - which for me is a long way off - wooooooot.
